Another Strong Showing for QT2 Athletes Racing IM NOLA 70.3

April 25, 2012

The thing about racing Ironman events is that you always have to be prepared to face the unexpected. This past Sunday was no exception when weather conditions forced the Ochsner Ironman 70.3 New Orleans race format to be altered to a two-mile run, 52-mile bike, and conclude with a 13.1-mile run. Neither the weather nor the race layout managed to dampen the race action.

Of the eleven QT2 Systems athletes racing, eight finished in the top ten of their respective professional/age-group classifications.

QT2 Athlete Award Winners:
Jeremy Cornman - 3:43:16, 2nd M30-34
Caitlin Snow - 3:48:59, 5th Pro Woman
Rafe Armstrong - 4:03:34, 2nd M50-54
Jocelyn Cornman - 4:19:11, 5th F30-34
Jackie Williams - 4:53:36, 5th F50-54

When all was said and done, QT2 had some spectacular results with less than ideal race conditions. Next Stop: Ironman Texas on May 19, 2012. See you then!
