Bio: Kaitlin has been swimming competitively since she was 8 years old, and ran on her high school cross country and track teams. She continued swimming at Bentley College. Post-college, she pursued a life long goal to run the Boston Marathon, and has since completed 4 marathons, many half marathons and other road races. After being out of the pool for 5 years and dealing with some running injuries, she decided to join a masters swim team and buy a bike - completing her first triathlon in the spring of 2012. After finishing 1st in her age group at Timberman 70.3, she was hooked and joined QT2 to take her training to the next level. She began competing as a Pro in 2014, and is now focused on Ironman distance racing.
