A Midwest kid at heart, Brad grew up in Columbus, Ohio and was always on his high school track and cross country team. More of a JV All-Star in high school he began to dream of participating in triathlons, and most specifically racing in the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Brad finally completed his first triathlon, a local sprint, in the spring of 2009.
Shortly after 2009 Brad realized QT2 Systems would ultimately be the best way to achieve his multisport goals. While working with Tim Snow and QT2 Systems, Brad has completed more than half a dozen Half-Ironman's, Ironman Lake Placid, and Ironman Mont Tremblant. Most recently at Ironman Mont Tremblant Brad finished 5th in his AG with a time of 9:47, and qualified for the 2012 Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
Brad has experienced the benefit of QT2's race fueling, building of one's physical durability, increasing aerobic efficiency, and appropriate race pacing. He is now implementing these QT2 philosophies as well as drawing from his own personal experiences to help athletes achieve their goals - whatever they may be.
