Paul Duncan

Sales Director

Paul grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, playing tennis and soccer through high school, and for a short period in college.

In 2004 he enlisted into the United States Army, and eventually became the top RRNCO (Recruiting and Retention NCO) in the state of Nevada. Along that journey, he became overweight and pretty unhealthy due to daily bottle service at the pool, and the nightly drinking of White Russians and Irish Whiskey.  He had also been known to consume a bit too much pizza and fast food.

At 195 pounds, he declared that he would not allow himself to see 200. That's when he attempted his first triathlon, and was instantly hooked. Triathlon instantly became his new passion. Working 60-80 hours per week with the Army, he spent all of his spare time training, and inspiring others to do the same.

In 2010 he completed his first 70.3 in just under 7 hours. He now holds a PR of 4:31, and a full distance PR of 9:51.

After 11 years of service, Paul resigned from the Army to pursue his passion of coaching full-time, and to improve himself as an athlete. He now resides in Las Vegas, NV.

Paul has been coached by QT2 coach Vinny Johnson, since 2014, and has become an expert on QT2’s philosophies, protocols and methodologies of training and nutrition. His passion is to share those methods and help guide others in their triathlon journey.
