Bruce Cook

QT2 level 1 Coach

A life long athlete, Bruce began racing triathlon in 2002 while working 12 hour days in finance and helping to raise a family. Learning to prioritize and make the most efficient use of training time was essential for him to maintain a healthy life balance. Prior to 2011, Bruce worked with several talented coaches who helped him learn and enjoy the journey from Sprints to Ironman. In mid-2011, a friend put Bruce in touch with QT2 and he started training with Coach DMac. In 2012 at IM CdA, he won his age group and qualified for Kona – both first time experiences. Since training with QT2, Bruce has qualified multiple times for the 70.3 and 140.6 World Championships. These results were achieved by following the QT2 protocol: developing both physical and mental durability and maintaining consistency in training. In 2015, Bruce left the world of finance and is now a coach with QT2. He wants to use his personal experience to help other athletes maximize their return on time training, racing and recovering to achieve their goals.
